MetamorphoseAfrica – The Launch

Today, as I reflect on my journey thus far, I can clearly see that I have really been helped by God and man. Coming from a humble background in Nigeria and getting to where I am now (just getting started), I will like to thank all the mentors that have provided me with guidance and given me access to opportunities and information. I believe it’s only fair to start giving back; to whom much is given much is expected. I have always provided information and advice to people around me on a one to one basis but I think it’s about time I scale my effort so I can help more people.

The dilemma I have always had was – when is the right time to start, considering my young family and a demanding job? From experience, I have always known that the best thing to do in every situation is to do the best you can with what you have now (intellect, finance, position, network) – that was how MetamorphoseAfrica was born. A big thank you to my family, trustees, and pioneer mentors for all the support, may you receive help when you need it. I don’t know what MetamorphoseAfrica will become in the future, but I just want to help change one life at a time.

MetamorphoseAfrica is a charity that works hard to provide information technology and digital opportunities to millions of African youths, so as to help reduce unemployment and poverty among young people in Africa. We work with mentors and partners to help guide and provide support to African youths as they acquire new skills that will make them become the best version of themselves.

Some of the ways we plan to achieve our vision are through providing opportunities, inspiration, information, encouragement, and exposure to ordinary African youth; helping them see beyond their current environment and to aspire to become someone. We will also provide African youths access to successful IT and digital mentors that will guide them in becoming the best version of themselves.
